Major international oil & gas company opens a position of a Cost Estimator
Responsibilities:
• Establish capex and opex estimates for Company Onshore Projects including documentation and reports within defined quality requirements • Prepare methodology, tools and procedures that ascertain proper preparation and quality of cost estimates • Follow-up FEED contractors on estimating issues, evaluate quantities from MTO’s, equipment lists, P&IDs and quality assure input • Be involved in ITT and bid evaluation when it comes to prices, quantities, compensational issues etc • Prepare bid check estimates when necessary • Support, facilitate an challenge project management and company contract representatives on estimating issues • Liaise and collaborate with Company Offshore Project and Shareholders on estimating issues
Qualifications/experience required:
• Minimum 10 years experience in oil & gas projects at similar position (preferably onshore projects) • Perfect knowledge of rules and procedures regarding estimating philosophies, tools and procedures • Good experience and knowledge of project development and management process • Fluent English mandatory. Russian favourable.
