Our customer - a foreign company operating in Kyrgyzstan on gold concenrated factory construction is searching for a cost engineer.
Location: Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek
regime: office regime 5/2
Contract duration: 12 months
Accomodation, travel and oth. expences are paid.
Cost Engineer functions:
A cost controller manages the spending associated with a project. This professional works closely with multiple departments to prepare a budget. Additionally, the cost controller ensures all financial expenditures fall within that budget. Alternate tiles for this role include cost accountant and cost engineer
A cost controller is responsible for developing a standard method to be used to track all expenditures related to a project. This can be accomplished manually or with the use of computer software
Budgeting
•After in-depth discussions with the project manager and other decision-makers, the cost controller creates a detailed budget that accounts for each estimated expenditure.
Keeping Records
•Keeping a log of all purchases made, a cost controller strictly enforces the predetermined budget and does not award approval to excess expenditures.
Reporting
•On a consistent basis, the cost controller creates financial reports that track current spending in relation to the overall budget. He presents these to management and the accounting department.
